It Started In Wisconsin Book Reading and Talk
Next Tuesday in Madison, please join Paul and Mari Jo Buhle, editors of Verso's It Started In Wisconsin:Dispatches from the Front Lines of the New Labor Protest for a reading and talk with several of the collection's contributing authors, including John Nichols and Mary Bottari. With the impending recall election of Wisconsin's governer Scott Walker and the stunning resurgence of labor solidarity in the state over the past year, the evening should offer a fantastic opportunity for discussion and an incomparable look at the present state of Wisconsin and its political future.
The reading will be held at the Goodman Community Center at 7:00 and is a free event.
For any questions please contact The Center for Media and Democracy at 608-260-9713 or visit PRWatch for more details.
