PEN World Voices Festival
What do we talk about when we talk about Occupy? What has it done—and what it is doing now? Raising these questions, the Occupy! Gazette sprang out of the first weeks of the Wall Street occupation to present an early analysis of the movement’s development—explained on the publication’s kickstarter page as "...an attempt to begin to think through what is happening, written by people both 'on the ground and across the river.'" Occupy! Gazette founders discuss the inspiration behind the publication and the challenges of writing about Occupy Wall Street as it unfolds, considering the movement in current form and its potential.
