Their shared concerns with everyday life and 'species of spaces' left me wondering if Perec had been set on this path by Lefebvre or whether Perec had been drawn to Lefebvre through these common interests. Excellent post. I live in Manchester and tonight we are all being encouraged to go into the City Centre and spend money to show it's literally 'business as usual'. No questioning of whether the business-led 'regeneration' strategy may have played any role in the riots even though Harvey Nichols and Selfridges were attacked.
