Huw Lemmey 4 November 2013

Panitch looks at the relationship between the state and finance from the Great Depression to the current financial crisis, as a result of globalisation and greater integration across international borders.

Tomorrow Leo Panitch will present a lecture at the Centre for Global Political Economy at Sussex University on the nationstate's place in the history of global capitalism. The Making of Global Capitalism is out now in paperback.
