Join Verso Books and representatives from NYC's bookseller unions for a panel discussion and May Day celebration.
This May Day, Verso Books will be hosting a panel discussion with organizers and shop stewards from every unionized bookstore in NYC. Representatives from Barnes & Noble, McNally Jackson, Book Culture, Greenlight, and The Strand will join Verso Guild unit chair, Michelle Betters, to discuss contract negotiations, the industry's unique challenges, our equally unique tactics, and how we might expand our organizing and solidarity in 2025 and beyond.
As important as preparing collectively for the struggles ahead, we'll also be celebrating the incredible accomplishments of these unions with a party afterwards. Please RSVP here!
