Life & Death Reporting the Mexican "Drug Wars"
A panel discussion with Anabel Hernández, Carlos Lauría of the Committee to Protect Journalists; investigative journalist Guy Lawson; and Nik Steinberg, senior researcher on Mexico in the Americas Division of Human Rights Watch.

Narcoland takes on the so-called “war on drugs” in Mexico, surveying the past 35 years of drug production and trafficking in Mexico and exposing the Mexican government's complicity with the major criminal organizations that supply the United states with the majority of its illegal narcotics.

This even is co-sponsored by PEN American Center and the Committee to Protect Journalists
