She or he will work with our senior editors in London, New York and Paris to bring in book proposals across Verso's full range—international politics, history, sociology, literature, art, economics and theory—and see them through to publication.  Chief responsibilities will be liaising with authors, applying for and pursuing translation grants, acquiring and editing new projects, and working with our production and desk editorial departments.
