
Gabriele Pedulla
Gabriele Pedullà is professor of Italian Literature at the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa (the most prestigious university in Italy) and a prizewinning fiction writer; he has been visiting professor at Stanford, UCLA, Princeton, and Berkeley, and is a contributor to the New Left Review and Jacobin. His books in English include: In Broad Daylight: Movies and Spectators after the Cinema; Machiavelli in Tumult: The “Discourses on Livy” and the Origins of Political Conflictualism; and On Niccolò Machiavelli: The Bonds of Politics. He is translated, or under translation, in nine languages.
