Lucas Pohl

Lucas Pohl is Professor of Human Geography at University of Innsbruck, Austria. He holds a doctorate from Goethe University Frankfurt and previously worked at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and HafenCity University Hamburg. His work mediates between human geography, continental philosophy, and psychoanalytic theory, focusing on spatial imaginaries, built environments, and political action. He is co-editor of [Un]Grounding: Post-foundational Geographies (transcript; together with Friederike Landau und Nikolai Roskamm) and his research has been published in journals such as Progress in Human Geography, Political Geography, and Theory, Culture & Society.
