Mika Minio-Paluello

Mika Minio-Paluello provides research and campaigning support to communities resisting oil corporations. Currently based between London, Cairo and Oakland, Mika is a sailor, beekeeper, writer and tweets (@mikaminio) about power and resistance.

Together with James Marriott, Mika is part of Platform, a London-based arts, human rights and environmental justice organisation that has pioneered diverse and far reaching responses to issues of international importance for more than 25 years. Based on core values of solidarity, creativity and democracy, Platform combines art, activism, education and research to achieve long-term systemic goals.

    To celebrate the release, we're giving away a copy of The Oil Road and two tickets to tomorrow's (4/10/12) event at the London Review Bookshop with James Marriott and Emma Hughes, in conversation with Terry Macalister.
