End Times at Cooper Union

Julie McCarroll 8 November 2010

Last night at Cooper Union, Slavoj Žižek spoke to a packed house on torture, Badiou, the television series 24, and "Bartleby politics." (Thanks to all who braved the cold, and the long lines!) The talk, to mark the publication of his recent book Living in the End Times, was Zizek's first major appearance in the US for more than a year. For anyone who missed it, Democracy Now and Red TV were on hand to tape the event; stay tuned for details on when it will be posted.
