Antony Loewenstein

Antony Loewenstein is an independent journalist, best-selling author, filmmaker and co-founder of Declassified Australia. He's written for The Guardian, The New York Times, The New York Review of Books and many others. His books include My Israel Question, Disaster Capitalism and Pills, Powder and Smoke. His last book The Palestine Laboratory was an international bestseller, winning the Walkley Book Award for Longform Journalism, the People's Choice award, and was also shortlisted for the 2024 Victorian Premier's Prize for Nonfiction and the Nonfiction Book Award at the 2024 Queensland Literary Awards. His documentary films include Disaster Capitalism and the Al Jazeera English films on The Palestine Laboratory, and Germany's Israel Obsession.
