Fredric Jameson | April 14, 1934 - September 22, 2024
Few radical thinkers have had such a phenomenal impact on literary criticism, critical theory, and philosophy.
Fredric Jameson contributed some of the most important Marxist cultural criticism of the twentieth century. To honor the great writer's life, we encourage everyone to read the works he produced in his 90 years.
When Fredric Jameson turned 90, we published a series of articles about his thought and career, with contributions from Matthew Beaumont, Kristin Ross, Alberto Toscano, Anna Kornbluh, and more. Read our Jameson at 90 blog series
We're proud to present Jameson's legendary lectures on postwar German thought, collected for the first time in our newly published After Year Zero.
